Renewed Purpose

It is crazy how fast things change.  Last year in January I set a goal to write a weekly blog.  My first blog post to start off this goal was January 28, 2023.  The very next week I was sitting on the couch at my brother and sister-in-law’s house mourning the death of my 14-year-old nephew who died by suicide.  I was numb and in shock yet trying to stay strong for my brother, his wife, and their other children.  The night before most of our family – which is a lot of people as I come from a family of 5 brothers and myself - gathered to say our goodbyes and to support my brother, his wife, and their family.  Our world stood still, but the real world kept going.

As time went on we continued to gather for family events, birthday parties, holidays and raise awareness for suicide prevention.  It is truly amazing the good things God can bring out of tragedy.  It is also amazing how my priorities shifted to being all in, driven and goal oriented for the new year to taking a huge step back to grieve, rest and really take time to focus on my foundation and spend time with my family. While 2023 was not the year I expected, it has brought me to 2024 with a renewed purpose and vision.  Looking forward to new growth, service and sharing information with you through this blog and my business that will help you and your families thrive for many years.
